They’ve arrested some. I read some have been killed. I think they were from one of those central Asian countries, in the Caucasus

They all got away initially, but some have now been detained, apparently.

Seems that it was known by the US that something was afoot a few weeks ago, according to reports the US advised its citizens who were in Russia to be on their guard and avoid places like that which was attacked. Also, according to repo9ts, the US warned Russia that intelligence was that something was going to happen but Russia chose to ignore it.

Whilst not saying outright Russia is implying that the Ukraine is complicit in the attack by allowing entry to the Ukraine by some of those who carried out the attack, something which the Ukraine is denying.
