I always had Brit Bikes passed my test in the forces on a BSA B40 350CC first bike I owned was a 500CC Velocette Venom clubman Then a 650cc BSA Lightning Then a 850cc Norton Commando. I Always wanted a Vincent Black shadow. never got one. I cant have a bike now because of upper spine damage if I came off Id likely end up in a wheelchair or worse. anyway I cant do that over the shoulder life saving last look. thing.
I heard gods fast but I'd have to go up against him before I believe it

I always wanted one. My father had been a biker until I was about 4, but he always refused to buy one and I couldn't afford one.
He always told me that if I hit anything there was no protection on a bike, but in a car there was a body round you.
So when I was 17 and passed my test he helped me buy a cheap car.
It didn't help when a number of the lads I was at school with were racing round, mostly on Triumph Bonnevilles. One of these lads, racing away from the police, had a slight 'misjudgement' and ended up flying through a bank window, before hospital and a short stay at her majesty's pleasure.

Have plenty of good mates that do. I call them mid life crisis suicide machines but I think you've earned it Paolo.

My old man was a biker. Never got the bug myself despite being brought up in and around loads of his motorbike daft friends.

Dunno, just never felt particularly safe on them.

In his later years he had a trike which was a load of fun.
A joyless arsehole.

I currently have a Kawasaki Er6f (Ninja) as my road bike.

Also a KTM 450 for getting down and dirty :yawinkle:

Bikes really are a divisive thing. Just look at this thread, at least half the posters who have made remarks are anti-bike (not a dig at those people, just an observation).

The drawback with motorcycles, or rather motorcyclists, is it's illegal to run them off the road.
I can't ever recall seeing a motorcyclist who didn't have me shaking my head in disbelief at their antics on the road. And don't get me started about their attitude when I ask them to remove their helmets when they come in to the shop I work in. It's like they're being asked to remove their heads, they're so fucking arrogant and annoying.
