Re: Your club's worst XI that you've seen
Boumsong and Bramble have to be the worst centre back pairing in premiership history
mentioning other members is not allowed in signatures

Re: Your club's worst XI that you've seen
I can probably, easily, think of half a dozen more from NUFC alone which could be worse.

Rush was a fantastic player, but by Christ, he had a terrible time at Leeds.
Was it entirely his fault though?

Re: Your club's worst XI that you've seen
Indeed, among the finest British strikers ever.
In fairness when he arrived at Leeds, he was about 35 years old and Wilkinson was approaching the end. It was a very transitional team and he never really fitted in. I think George Graham even stuck him out on the wing for an extended spell at some point!
I only read recently that the understanding was that Rush would learn from Wilkinson on the coaching side and potentially succeed him as manager. Someone was obviously lying, as apparently the board had wanted George Graham for months before we got him but couldn't move for him until he had served his FA ban.

Good shout. Mark De Vries, Wayne Andrews, Lee Trundle, Liam Dickinson, Gary McSheffrey. Some of those post-Premier League short-term loans were horrific!fattmaude wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2020 11:48 amEdgar Cani mate.Zippy wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2020 4:22 am Jesus, where do I start...

What happened with Brolin? Swedes generally have adjusted to English football well like Mellberg, Dahlin and Ljunberg but for some reason he was pretty crap here.Zippy wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2020 4:22 am Jesus, where do I start...
