Would Shaun Bailey not have a security team? Johnson was followed around by the same caravan when he went cycling.Zambo wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 10:27 am Why would anyone chose to vote for this despicable hypocritical cunt. Were the candidates really that bad.

Apparently his life is and has been constantly under threat...I have no idea why.Zambo wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 10:27 am Why would anyone chose to vote for this despicable hypocritical cunt. Were the candidates really that bad.

He went to a park, his security team went with him. It's a non-story.

Exactly.
But the Daily Mail are masters in whipping up faux outrage.

I don't thin you've bothered to read it. The clear message is if you are going to back anti-pollution you don't go out and er, pollute when there is absolutely no need to. A bit like Lewis Hamilton in his jet, eh Subsub.

Re: Sadiq Khan
First of all, it's very easy to offset your carbon emissions – did you know that?
Secondly, Lewis Hamilton has such a huge reach via his social media that if just a small percentage are influenced and change their behaviour to be more environmentally friendly, then that's worth it in my book.
Demanding that certain people never drive or take a flight is ridiculous.

I've read the story and he visited the park with a Met. Police security team of over five people who brought Met. Police vehicles to transport the team. I assume they follow him anywhere so unless the Mail is saying Khan should never go out when he's not working I'm not sure what they expect to happen.Zambo wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 11:24 amI don't thin you've bothered to read it. Re: Sadiq Khan
Hamilton's green credentials are somewhat undermined as he's the face of the most polluting sport in the history of the World after competitive car type burning. The fact he tells people to make green choices whilst posting pictures of his dog eating lunch on a private jet is somewhat silly.subsub wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 11:32 amFirst of all, it's very easy to offset your carbon emissions – did you know that?

Re: Sadiq Khan
What was wrong with the park across the road? You'd think a big anti-polluter like Khan, would take the opportunity to save some emissions. Then again Socialists are all full of shit anyway. Do as I say, not as I do.Vespa wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 11:44 amI've read the story and he visited the park with a Met. Police security team of over five people who brought Met. Not sure the position that Khan should only go places within walking distance is sensible. This story is basically Khan drove somewhere, the Met Police went as well and therefore Khan = bad. It's simply silly.Zambo wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 12:48 pmWhat was wrong with the park across the road? You'd think a big anti-polluter like Khan, would take the opportunity to save some emissions. Re: Sadiq Khan
Well I've never heard of a poor one in politics. You'd think they'd spread their wealth like they insist the rest of us do by taxing the arses off those who use their brain cells to better themselves.
