Covid Travel Pass in your phone wallet
I used to be able to update the travel pass expiry date on a monthly basis, mine shows it expired last Feb so can you still do it and is it still a requirement?

Re: Covid Travel Pass in your phone wallet
Just had a quick look at the Gov website, updated 23rd June, and it's still required. Sorry can't seem to link from phone, but I just Google is covid pass still required and it was first one up.

Cheers, I've downloaded them so I can show I've had them it's just the expiry date thats wrong and doesn't or won't update or am I getting hold of the wrong end of the stick?
Edit: Must've been technical glitch, removed old travel pass then installed new ones. All good till Dec 2022.

As per, you don;t need the app now anyway to get it. You can just log in to the NHS website.

Highly recommend you get an NHS paper copy as a back up and scan it. The app is sh*t.

Never tried with Android as do not use unless necessary. BG is right though, Order a print as a back up via the offline copy for double security.

What's the concern here CJ, being able to reliably access the Covid travel pass on your phone or losing your phone and having a back up. Airline tickets are electronic anyway so if you lose phone you're fecked anyway aren't you?

No problems. Have Google pay wallet as had to use it for tickets and you can download it there:
Just like to have a paper back up of things.

Fair enough, yeah thought it would offer you the choice. Obviously you can also carry the PDF or the email as extra, extra back up in electronic as well as paper form. Stick it on a cloud too I suppose.

Really? At least it's easy to print if you get them to email you.

This is why you should always keep a physical copy on you when travelling.
