Re: Quarter-finals: England vs France on 10th December
There was one danger man to pick up whenever the ball came into the box and they failed to do it.
Blame the South Yorkshire Chuckle Brothers at Centre Half or possibly that T-Rex armed twat in goal. Everyone else in the side, Kane included, can hold their heads up.
Walker did a terrific job on Mbappe. Match his speed and he struggles massively. Doesn’t have the trickery or balance of a Salah or Messi in going through tight areas.

Eddie Howe would seem the most obvious choice. He’ll be getting sacked by Newcastle sooner or later.
Either that or Tony Adams for the pure lolz.

If ever a sentence required narrowing down, it’s that one.

Yep, that was just hindsight crap, imagine someone else took it and missed. Kane then would of been accused of bottling it.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 9:29 pm Eni Aluko said Maguire shouldn’t have taken the penalty. Utter horseshit from that woman. He just overthought it and was under incredible pressure. Hard to blame Kane really. Give the penalty to someone other than our trusted penalty taker and after he scored the first one.

France - too streetwise for England tonight.
Can't recall a time where England outperformed the opposition in so many aspects of the game except for scoring. Usually we limp onto extra time and penalties before falling flat on our faces.
Hard choice now...a bit sick of the Messi love in but I don't want France to win it again.
So come on MOROCCO! Where's that Fez...

One of them, innit?
Gutting to go out, but just one of those things.

Watched it from the rooftop of a shisha lounge would you believe?! Times like this I wished I smoked!
Around 100 people stayed to watch the game on a big screen. Flying out tomorrow (frozen runway permitting).
