Mowbray on his way
We need someone to steady the ship that Rooney almost sunk. Think it's going to be the right appointment at the right time. You could ask why he's managed so many clubs, but he has had success with several of them at this level.
I'm optimistic.

Good appointment, surprised he lost his last job, in the position they were in.Zambo wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 7:31 pm Mowbray on his way

Yeah, him getting the sack at Sunderland, was like Eustace getting the sack at Birmingham. Baffling.

We’ve submitted a big improved offer for Morgan Rogers from Boro. Bit of a strange one this. Seems a good player but many Villa fans saying he’s no better than Jaden Philogene-Bidace or Cameron Archer. A lot of Boro fans are annoyed ball accounts. I like him and think he will flourish at the Villa. Looks like he wants to go. Thoughts, Carlos?

Re: The Championship 2021/22/23/24
His achievements as manager have been distinctly unimpressive. Having won the Championship with West Brom, he promptly got them relegated. He got Blackburn relegated. Celtic fell ten points behind Rangers with him in charge and he left the club barely after a year. An epic fail.
Left Boro after winning only twice in twelve matches. Left Coventry Coty within eighteen months after a run of winless results. Sunderland was perhaps his only success across a number of seasons.
Rooney was utterly abysmal in charge. Mowbray is a steady pair of hands but what precisely do Blues want off him? To steady the ship before handing over to another big name wjo will be just as crap as Rooney, or for him to take them into the Premier League. Would he be able to?

I would say too avoid relegation.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 11:21 pm His achievements as manager have been distinctly unimpressive. That will have to do for this season, but Cook should still get the boot for the Looney appointment.

Dirty Leeds winning with an injury time penalty. Was fair though.
Sorry, kancut. Don't know much about Rogers.

Difficult to know who to go for for promotion. Looks like Leicester are running away with it at the top. Can’t say I know too much about Ipswich but looks like it’s between them and Southampton. Would actually like West Brom to come up in the play offs just to get their arses handed to them on a plate next season and fuck themselves up into eternity.

Leicester v Ipswich on Monday should be interesting and tell more about how things are going.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 3:58 pmDifficult to know who to go for for promotion.
