As far as I can find the cost of housing asylum seekers in a hotels was £739m in 019/20. it is now £4.7b in 2023/4, and rising, so it is plain to see that asylum seekers are NOT a burden on the country. And that doesn't take into account whatever amount they are given as subsistance allowance.
It's the poor sodding pensioners who bled the country dry to the tune of £1.4b that are to blame.
I post more than some.

It's not really about whether they net contribute or not, it's importing tens of thousands young men who belong to a religion that want to destroy our way of life

We saw the muslim vote win 4 seats (5 if you include magic grandpa) and decimate Labour majorities elsewhere. Next time it will be 10 and inexorably rise. No problem with their birth rate, they're on course to become the majority population in the UK. More fool the left giving them comfort and succour, did they not learn the lessons of the left in Iran, when the fanatics took over they were the first to be strung up.

There's a tiny council in Michigan where the left helped put Muslims in charge last year, one of the first things they did was ban the Pride flag.

Peter Lynch, 61, had been convicted of rioting outside a hotel housing asylum seekers in Rotherham

One less Reform voter is good news in anyone's book.
People committing suicide isn't funny.
Never said it was.
But from a neutral perspective, the UK will be a better place with one less bigot in it.
So you don't find it funny but you're happy he killed himself in his cell.
Not happy, no.
Merely commenting on the reality of the situation.
You aren't making a joke, or happy but just think it is a good thing this man hung himself in his in cell. Gotcha.
He's joined the Tick bandwagon. The duo think it's clever and hard to either wish death on people, or show pleasure when someone on the 'other side' kicks it.

Pathetic attention seeking, and getting at least a semi when someone reacts.

This post therefore will be further stimulation.

The biggest rise of any faith group in the last 20 years in the UK is the agnostics/atheists.

For years we were told that Labour were heavily reliant on the "muslim vote". Now we're told that the "muslim vote" is damaging Labour. Can't have it both ways.

Maybe it's time to stop treating the "muslim vote" as some sort of monolith as we should stop doing with the "Hindu vote" or "Jewish vote".

Some on here seem to have forgotten that at the time the death of this man was reported a link was posted to the report of his death along with at least 6 laffing thingys. Obviously the poster found his death highly amusing.

Ignore the wanky accent, but you’ve got to be a complete cunt to dispute what he’s saying.

One can ignore the accent, but not those weird eyes.

She was correct, it definitely was a piss-take.

14 previous convictions covering 30 offences, and took a kid of 11.

27 months was the sentence, but what will she actually serve. She should have got at least five years, and serve the whole sentence.

Until you give the scum in this country a deterrent, reoffending will continue to rise.
