It's an interesting comedy perspective, if the advert had been for fairy snow washing powder and she'd said her boyfriend was talking to her in the bath when she had a spasm but he didn't mind as he needed his shirt washed so threw it in with her and a cup of powder I would guess there would have been an uproar?

There probably would be uproar; Fairy's not even in the top five washing powders so he would have been castigated for not using a better one.

It wasn't the disability angle that shocked me - it was the fact that a mainstream brand would make such a blatantly sexual ad.

You just don't expect it and it seems a bit weird and wrong somehow.

I remember a science documentary in which someone said "fucking amazing" and that was shocking too - not because the phrase is shocking in itself , but because people never normally swear in that type of programme.
