Re: Footballers as puddings
Well a waiter asked me yesterday if I wanted a pudding and he gave me a menu with a list of them. I chose chocolate brownies and peanut butter ice cream, and very nice it was too. However, brownies can be cakes. This is one of the rare situations which is not black and white, or in this case brown and white.

It is so. I've been to loads of eating establishments where there are Oreo deserts. You'll have to fight the power of multinational restaurants chains to convince them this ain't a pudding. The End wrote:Oreo is not a pudding under any definition.kancutlawns wrote:Sadioreo Mane

Something generally accepted as a sweet course eaten after a main dish - a pudding or dessert. The End wrote:Define 'pudding'
Now I realise you could eat anything and call it a pudding.
But we need some rules or there would be mealtime anarchy.
Cake and brownies are for elevenses or tea.

Scone - not a pudding
Oreo - not a pudding
A pudding is something uniformly recognised as something consumed after a main meal
Scone and Oreo are 'snacks' to be eaten when peckish...or in scone case, perhaps a starter (at a push)
