Ah it just happened to me, glad I wasn't the only one. I couldn't find a way of listing the unread notifications, and couldn't be arsed wading through pages looking, so clicked "mark as read".

You can fix individual posts by going back and editing to remove the tags and I am looking to see if I can find a fix for older video posts.
