Royals is right. We don't know the context.
The trouble is that in most things we have to judge from limited information.
That's something a few people on here could remember.
On the balance of probability it seems to me he is a stupid, drunk man who absorbs the bollocks Fox and the rest pump out.
There is a similarity here between Trump and Farage.
They will deny being racists, but they are happy to have the votes of racists.

That's a fair point, the Texas police are notorious for being leftie yougurt knitters, which is clearly why they picked on this poor man simply using his freedom of speech.

Nothing to do with free speech or otherwise. If you'd read or looked at it properly you'd have noticed that he was charged with public intoxication - IE being drunk.
If you want to try and deduce anything from this, it'd probably be more logical to conclude that there was either insufficient evidence or other factors which prevented a more serious charge.
Of course you really shouldn't try and guess if you're dealing with reality rather than trying to confirm your own bias , but it's interesting that once you took that propaganda bait in your mouth you refuse to spit it out.
We can see the power of a visual here. You saw a mugshot and because you'd already been convinced you subconsciously failed to notice that the charge wasn't really consistent with the impression the clip sought to give.
