Expect more to defect from both parties, all Remain supporters. This will pretty much render any form of governance impossible.
So I reckon a general election will be called quickly. This will allow both Labour & Tories to get candidates in quickly to replace defectors. Both established parties would also hope to capitalize before TIG gets it's act together - it's not even an official party yet (I think). It certainly has not got a constitution.
Of course, all 11 defectors were elected on the manifesto's of their respective parties. They all also champion a 'People's Vote' The least we could expect is for them to immediately resign and re-stand on their own platforms in these seats.
Or is this new found championing of seeking public approval somewhat selective?
