I generally don't think governments are lying, just either inept or disingenuous. Johnson seems to have built a goverment that is disingenuous, lies and inept all at the same time for single issues.

For the last few days, we've been told stories of people being stuck in Calais because the UK goverment hasn't built any resources there were awful media lies and Priti Patel herself said only the morning that there is a so-called VAC (Visa Application Centre) in Calais processing people and this was all nonsense. Then Number 10 said there wasn't a VAC and now Priti Patel agrees there isn't one there either - they've had weeks now to ship people in France maybe they should have got Farage to ferry them over in his dingy.

Now we have pictures of signs put up by British officials in Calais telling Ukrainians to go to either Paris or Brussels.

It's shameful and they need to fix it.

Journalism is dead. Why go searching for a story when you can see what’s trending on social media and write two hundred words about it? Or write whatever the owner wants the readership to get angry about.

It's sad but those are the regs and tills are adjusted not to accept more, same with paracetamol, only two allowed, I'm sure there are other medications with the same restrictions but as I don't use them I don't really know.
As far as I can see the only way around is to get the chemists involved, they can purchase the stuff and then make arrangement to have it sent to the correct distribution centre.
