Re: Question of Sport
What about a question of spurt with Peter North and Ron Jeremy? They could both address their criminal past and things they did to pay the rent

The pavlov's dogs of the Mail will be feeling a bit silly this morning.

Judging by the comments in the Mail article the readership are taking umbridge at her appointment simply because she's black.
A joyless arsehole.

The umbrage surrounds another blatantly diversity quota appointment.
There was nothing wrong with Sue Barker's presentation, although Dawson is a bit of a prat. He could have been replaced by someone like Ron Atkinson.

The BLM marxists have poisoned the political discourse to such a huge extent that the tokenism allegation speaks for itself.

Re: Question of Sport
Why does it bother you so much?
Sue Barker has done the job for nearly 25 years.
In other industries people aren't guaranteed a job for life; why should she be any different?
And, you may remember, there was outcry when she was appointed, "stealing" David Coleman's job etc

Re: Question of Sport
Apparently The BBC have dismissed Sue Barker and the two team captains, because 'they want to take the show in a new direction'.
I wonder what that means, as they haven't said as far as I know. You have to wonder with 24 years experience, why she couldn't take the show in any direction The BBC chose.

Re: Question of Sport
Sue barker was a grand slam champion and former girlfriend of cliff Richard. Alex Scott is a nobody. Women’s football teams have to give away tickets and even then they’re playing in empty stadiums .womens tennis and golf is enjoyable to watch but in football the difference between men and women is huge

If no-one has watched it for years, why is it another nail in the coffin? Why weren't people watching before?theleader82 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 12:38 am Alex Scott is set to replace sue barker on question of sport. Noone has watched it for for years.
