"Finding nemo" isn't going to impress the daily fail readership. Even most remainers/rejoiners would struggle to muster more than a grain of enthusiasm on this particular point.

Also Daily Fail, tedious beyond funny any more.
Funny how some people who read high brow publications like the Sun and Daily Sport, or whatever that arse wipe is titled, believe every word printed but cant get it into their tiny brains that other newspapers also print the truth, apart from it not being the truth they want.

We're oot and staying oot of that corrupt cesspool. If foot stamping and crying was going to work, it would have done 8 years ago.

The immediate priority isn't to magically rejoin the EU.

It's to realign our trading and other practices to ve more in tune with the EU so that we we can ease some of the current barriers to trade. This is what'll develop after the next UK general election.

Trying to rejoin the EU is a longer term enterprise.

Well doesn't look like Keir has the stomach for it. Jeremy is the man for the Job I reckon.

Keir Starmer, leader of the Labour Party, ruled out the possibility of the UK rejoining the EU under a Starmer-led Labour government.

Rejoining the EU is a long term process which would take more than a 5 year period such as a UK parliamentary term would offer.

In that context Keir Starmer is only stating the obvious, but if it calms gammon nerves then it won't harm his electoral hopes.

Which is why I was saying that realignment with the EU is the first step.

Surely Starmer will serve more than one term.

If Labour serve more than one term, it doesn't have to be only under keir starmer. Political parties can change leader.

Besides, political parties can always go back on their word once elected into office. :D

What's the betting that Starmer will get the same treatment Ken Livingstone dished out to the moderate wing of the Labour party when he staged a coup at the GLA

More winning...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c88z60y6yy1o

Concerns about the future of farming in a county have been raised after notices to quit were issued to farmers on an estate.
About 65 tenant farmers in Cumbria received letters giving them notice to quit last month.

The Tenant Farmers Association (TFA) is now working with the estate landlord to find a solution.

Tim Farron, the Liberal Democrat MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale, said changes to payments following Brexit were making it difficult for farmers to run viable businesses.

Just another excuse to boot the boot in Brexit.

'However, those involved said the land was not being taken back'

As usual, just one side of the story and the other omitted.

Those involved meaning the landowners who want to squeeze the farmers now that the latter struggles to pay up following post-brexit difficulties. As long as the landowners get their loot they don't care if the farmers stay or not.

No one will be evicted, and a solution will be found. If you are going to swamp the thread with prejudiced, one eyed scaremongering, then at least track the stories and provide updates on what actually happens. That if course won't suit your agenda, but it will give you more credibility and give more balance

Because at the moment, it just looks like one long pathetic whine, and she'd loads of sour grapes because you didn't get what you wanted eight years ago.
