It's interesting that it is only newspapers reporting on staff being called to Buck House for a meeting, and not the BBC. This sometimes means they are sitting on something awaiting permission to publish it. I'd be surprised if it was a death though - why would they call people in from afar to tell them something they can say over the phone? I remember when the Queen Mother died - no speculation, simply at 6pm the BBC played the National Anthem (I was in a car heading up Tan Hill towards England's highest pub and the radio reception cut out halfway through, which meant I didn't have a clue what had happened til I got to the pub).
