Devil's Knot (2014) - film based on the book about the West Memphis Three. Considering the subject matter is three murdered eight year old boys and the trial of three teenagers, it was reasonably and tastefully done.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

If you enjoyed that film, Carlos, watch Compulsion and Rope, two movies about the Leopold and Loeb murder case. Coined the "crime of the century", both the killing and the sentence shocked the US at the time, particularly as the death penalty was the norm. Loeb died in prison; Leopold was eventually released decades later, living an anonymous life until his death in the '70s.

Seen 'Rope' before starring your old favourite Jimmy Stewart, may have seen 'Compulsion' as well, not 100%. Know about the L and L case as well. Of "based on" crime films, 'Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer' is a favourite for its banality and brutality.

Amongst others recently mentioned saw 'Electra Glide in Blue' many years who and have vague good memories of it. Also, glad I read the book 'Donne Brasco' first.

Thanks for this, Carlos.

Jimmy Stewart is one of my faves! I could watch these guys all day:

Dirk Bogarde

James Caan

Clint Eastwood

Glenn Ford

Patrick McGoohan

Paul Newman

James Stewart
