:D

As I said back then, a few years ago Graham wouldn't have been seen dead with any of that sorry bunch. It's still amusing that he's mates with Decker. How on earth?!

It was funny a few days after when he bemoaned the likes of Grimes, Hewertson and other grifters not buying a single drink all night. The money Graham put behind the bar had run out and then he was on his own. With friends like these etc.
Here's to loyal colleagues and good compadres. Onwards and upwards. 🍷🥂

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just jealous that a fellow presenter’s daughter has made it big time in the media business

Jesus, MG has lost the plot.

He's nowhere near untouchable as he thinks. If Talkradio went kaput then he'd be fucked - burned so many bridges.

+1

He's nowhere near the successful and thought-provoking media figure as he thinks either.
The media industry, rather like the acting world, is hierarchical as well as superfical. Burley and Rigby, two women at the top of the pyramid, laugh at shock jock nonentities like Graham, Parry, and Gaunt.
Graham and Parry spin myths about their journalism past. Graham likely 'covered' the Whitehouse — as a lakey, not a leading man. If my memory's correct, MG told Parry (on the Two Mikes podcast) that he "shook hands" with Clinton and exclusively 'papped' him and his entourage in a dive bar. That's all he did.

Lol:

Kay! Kay!
Oh! Hi...
Kay! Can I have a selfie? Love your show!
Awww! Thanks so much! *air-kiss* Remind me who you are again...?
It's Mike!
Mike Sergeant?
No, Mike Graham. I work for the Wireless Group, with Mike Parry on talkRADIO and talkSPORT.
That's right! Sorry I didn't recognise you. You're a former wrestler?
No, he died a few years ago. I was huge in journalism at one time — the Daily Express assistant editor; covered the Bosnian War, lived in New York, met Bill Clinton. Michael Jackson's brother almost sued me!
Oh, interesting...
Parry and I have been on Sky News!
Oh! On my show? I don't remember you.
No, Sarah-Jane Mee's morning show.
Oh...
I'll tweet you!
Yeah, sure.
How about lunch?
... Piers! Dahling! *air-kiss*

The Two Mikes won an award for the EU Referendum Special show
talkSPORT : 24th June 2016

MG admitted to being "on the remain side" more than "leave side", implying that he voted Remain.
Porky's predictions came true: Boris is an opportunist who "wants to be PM" (yup) and a Leave result would cause "economic chaos" (yup).
Interestingly, MG commented that the referendum divided the country. Ironically, his sensationalist right wing talkRADIO show has caused further division.

Stupid tweet from Graham. Journalists turn their hands to new things often, especially in the broadcasting game.

Without sounding like carc, what is overlooked however is the sheer nepotism associated with someone like Martha Kelner. Daughter of Martin, niece of Simon (a big Fleet Street player for many years). How could she ever fail?
