When the mask slips, a nasty bully. But pound for pound, a better manager than Guardiola.

We've already had one scouser phoning up pretending to be in tears, how many more before the day is out?

The timing of the announcement stinks the place out with self attention, and fuck all consideration of everyone associated with the club. What you'd expect though.

:) I think if he could've left at the end of the season with a successor in place he would have. Seems to me he was probably forced into it because it's difficult for others who know to keep quiet. I'd be surprised if this doesn't affect their season in a detrimental way, can't see how it won't.

How can you be so wrong?

It was decided in November and agreed to announce in a few months. But they began to think they couldn't keep the lid on it so would get it under control. Perfectly sensible and nothing whatsoever to do with self-promotion, not least because why would he need to?

Hillman, as an elderly gent you have to stop biting or you'll end up in hospital on a more permanent basis.

Don't be daft. It's a warm and welcoming resignation.

Hmm

After he left Dortmund he was approached by Man U and he talked to them. They just talked about money.

He talked to Liverpool, and they talked about football. He even said how little they spoke about money and they said money would follow the football.

He took less money to go to Liverpool.

And the story since...

So skip the snide stuff and recognise from top to bottom he has led to club way beyond the one who first wanted him.

He and Guardiola way, way beyond the rest.
