Devastating news.

What a hero as a player. I remember when he burst into the Arsenal team. Such a powerful and skillful striker, the type you dream of signing. But the fact he came through the youth team made him extra special.

Then in later years, hearing him being interviewed you realised what a genuinely lovely guy he was. Always positive and always spot on.

Hearing and reading the tributes to him, it’s clear he brightened up some many peoples lives everywhere he went.
