I think Glitter sold the rights to his back catalogue a while ago, so hopefully the old paedo won't earn anything from the song.theleader82 wrote: Tue Sep 10, 2024 4:37 pm Their reunion could benefit Gary glitter, who’s a credited songwriter on what’s the story morning glory.

When I was teaching we staff always put on the Christmas panto for the pupils. All parts taken by staff. In the interval there were 'turns' by staff.Arty Morty wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 2:20 pmI think Glitter sold the rights to his back catalogue a while ago, so hopefully the old paedo won't earn anything from the song.theleader82 wrote: Tue Sep 10, 2024 4:37 pm Their reunion could benefit Gary glitter, who’s a credited songwriter on what’s the story morning glory.
It was Cinderella so,quickly getting rid of my Baron Hardup outfit I dressed up as Gary Glitter and mimed [with all the right activity] 'I'm the Leader of the Gang. It brought the house down for the three performances.
I can never forgive Glitter because I could never repeat my success once his crimes became public.

The internet artist, Jim'll Paint It faced a bit of a dilemma regarding his name.VeritasVincit wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 4:08 pmWhen I was teaching we staff always put on the Christmas panto for the pupils. Re: Oasis reunion
I guess he meant the writing credit for Shitter wouldn't have taken long, it actually took even less than that...
"The English rock band Oasis interpolated a line from Glitter's 1973 chart hit "Hello, Hello, I'm Back Again" on "Hello", the first track on their 1995 multi-million-selling album (What's the Story) Morning Glory?; this meant he was legally credited as a co-writer."

All that fuss and bother in the olden days, posting a letter with a cheque in it, and you'd either get some tickets or your cheque returned. It's so much better now, though, enmeshed in an eternal circle of hell, and if anything goes wrong it's all YOUR fault.

And with the cheque in the post system, the price always remained the same.JimmyDee wrote: Sun Feb 09, 2025 11:14 amAh, the joys of the internet, which was supposed to make everything easier. The Tick wrote: Sun Feb 09, 2025 6:57 am Better check your inboxes, boys and girls.

I’m sure this isn’t a ploy by the promoters to gain some more tickets to resell nearer the time (at an extremely inflated rate). Who’d do such a dastardly thing such as that?

If the people quoted in that article are genuine as they claim, just fill in the form and all should be fine. Maybe.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.
