Was right about Brum and Plymouth, shame Sunderland folded so easily to Sheffield Wednesday.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Well done to Ipswich, one hell of an achievement.
Also delighted for Argyle to stay up. My partners family are from there and were very nervous about today.

Flat end to the season, Blackburn deserved it and surprised they were so low in the table as they generally look a decent side.

Zippy, what are your thoughts on Leeds' Will Ferrell situation? Seems unexpected.

A very minor investor with the other celebs/sports people (Russell Crowe, Russell Westbrook, Jordan Spieth etc) so will have no big impact. Hopefully Sky don't drum up his presence at games - we're better than being another Wrexham.

Re: Re: The Championship 2021/22/23/24
I like Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
However, at the same time I’ve come to detest the whole Wrexham circus, the bullshit mythologising about how “the town needs a boost” and the spastic Americans who have started to “support” them. It pissed me off that United and Chelsea played them in the States in pre-season last summer, lending them some legitimacy.
Not sure if it’s true, but I was told that their American fan club was favoured over local supporters on ticket allocations.
Also their constant attempts at being ironic wind me up. Their smug, voiceover for an Ifor Williams advert being a prime example.
So, while I like them individually, I hope they both get crushed to death on the waltzers at a pikey fair.

Hollywood "soccer" fans annoy me. They remind me of those Americans who think all Englishmen look and sound like Colin Firth, and believe the British only drink tea, eat fish 'n' chips and drive black cabs.Sadact7 wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2024 8:24 pm I like Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.

I gave this a hate listen a few months back. Marsch is a total conman. SiJo was correct in his "snake oil salesman" assessment. The Ghost of Alex Higgins wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2024 6:46 pm Listened to jessys sijo thing. Fuck me what a load of yank bullshit
