Can anyone recommend a free Media Player for windows 8..I had one but it got wiped off when I took my laptop back to factory settings after someone tried hacking in..I can't find the same one anywhere and I dont know what it was..I want one thats easy to use and I can rip, burn and sync withit as well as making playlists...Cheers.

PotPlayer. Tiny and Powerful. I recently started using this as an alternative to VLC player and find it has a better performance and more options.

I tried VLC but couldn't get it to work for my laptop, but I then tried Potplayer and although I'm struggling a bit with playlists, in general its fine.
