"We have a fish & chip shop in Cowley & one near St Andrew’s Park, but we don’t in Uxbridge Town Centre."
I know that shop as I walk past it occasionally when visiting, it's dead with hardly any customers. A friend of mine lives near a popular chippy in a nearby town that recently closed, energy costs were crippling.
There's no demand, as a viable business and now a fish supper is just too pricey. Even if there were some interest for a town centre shop it's an idiotic idea as it's mostly dead at night with just a few pubs and commuter or night life passing through, absolute fat sham.
